A studio that listens before it paints
"Itti Shruti" — thus it was heard. Every work in this studio begins as listening: to a raga, a monsoon afternoon, the grain of a block of teak. We paint in oils, acrylic and natural pigment, and carve and cast in wood, bronze and terracotta.
Each piece is an original, signed and dated, and ships with a certificate of authenticity. We pack every work in a custom crate and insure it in transit across India.
